We have so many people who have done well in school. But those skills and muscles that you used to get As may not even get a workout here. Those are totally different muscles. If you like taking notes, if you like writing papers, and if you like cramming for finals, you won’t get to do that here – and you might be sad.

Our current higher education system is steeped in a philosophy that doubts our ability to even perceive the physical world. That philosophy is called postmodernism.

Too many students don't have sufficient teachers and staff to provide the support and education they need...so today we brought together critical leaders from across the spectrum to discuss the challenges and the ways the public and private sector can work together to get more quality people into the classroom.

Until we get equality in education, we won’t have an equal society.

Conservatives have a crucial role to play in shaping the future American health-care system to enhance and support enterprise, innovation, individual responsibility—to resist open-ended spending, state planning, and the risk that social insurance will penalize effort and success. It’s past time to accept reality, quit promising the impossible, and do the work that a democracy that seeks both equity and efficiency should expect from its more conservative-minded thinkers and politicians.

I would imagine that there is probably a gun in the schools to protect from potential grizzlies.

It would be very good for us if we had the internet in the schools. And we hope that in the future, we'll not only have the internet, we're also dreaming of installing language laboratories in every school.

I don’t believe in the phrase ‘aspiring writer.’ To me it’s just, you’re a writer.
