We don’t believe in a small America. We believe in a big America — a tolerant America, a just America, an equal America — that values the service of every patriot.

In a democracy, that’s the only realistic path to Net Zero. Consent, not imposition. Honesty, not obfuscation. Pragmatism, not ideology.

In the past, human progress had to come at the cost of the environment. If we wanted energy, we had to burn wood or we had to burn fossil fuels. If we wanted to grow more food, we had to expand farmland, often at the cost of forests. But technology and innovation means we're very quickly decoupling these impacts, such that this conflict is no longer true.

Each American generation passes the torch of truth, liberty and justice – in an unbroken chain all the way down to the present. That torch is now in our hands. And we will use it to light up the world.

But we have to do it with a European point of view and promote our interests and values. That's why it's so important not only to talk to each other but also to come together.

What we saw yesterday was a coup. We’ll remain peaceful, but we will not be taken for fools. We must defend our country.

When you are convinced your cause is just, you fight for it.

Maybe some people choose hatred, the culture of intolerance. We have to bet on liberty. We have to bet on our identity, the values that make this country extraordinary.

My dream changed from becoming a doctor to becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan, for fixing all the issues in bringing education to all.
