What kind of a society are we going to have if it consists of highly paid people doing high-value-added work – and masses of unemployed?

If you get up early, work late, and pay your taxes, you will get ahead–if you strike oil.

We’ll be fine with the environment. We can leave a little bit, but you can’t destroy businesses.

Big broadband barons and their Republican allies want to turn the telecommunications marketplace into a Wild West where consumers are held captive with no defense against abusive invasions of their privacy by internet service providers.

Classism is the number one enemy to democracy. And in America it is destroying the American dream. But we the people allow it. We allow it by being uninformed. By being uneducated. And that is what the 1% of the 1% want us to be. Ignorant to the facts.

We will not ignore attempts to interfere with our democratic processes.

You’re not going to have a government that represents all of us, so long as you have candidates like Secretary Clinton being dependent on big money interests.

It’s not five people, it’s not ten people, it’s not 1,000 people. We are talking about millions of people arriving in bulk numbers in Greece. Who is going to feed them? Who is going to establish all the mechanisms so they can survive safely? So, I think the United States should intervene, not only the European nations.

We just need something tangible to make us believe that politicians care about us. The wards in Flint haven’t seen any of this federal aid, but we do all the tax paying and all the dying.
