The Winter Olympics in Sochi wrapped up yesterday. Canada beat Sweden for the gold medal in men’s hockey. People in Canada were going crazy. They spent all night knocking over cars, and then picking them back up and leaving a nice note.

I think everyone is born funny. Sadly, some lives beat it out of them. I don't know what allows someone to keep being funny and actually make a career of it. I was encouraged to see the humor in life and have always been around people who think funny, but I know some hilarious people whose sense of humor saved them from their lives.

A terrifying line is being crossed.

I was taught that God is merciful and compassionate, and so must we be.

The most important thing is that you be a good person and you live by the golden rule of do unto others. If you live by that, that's all I care about.

I was quite overcome by the faces of those I saw in the crowd. There were people there that had helped raise me. There were so many who had believed in this when it was but an idea, and to celebrate their victory, our victory all together at once. It was a joy.

Maybe it won’t change the world, but it might change someone’s day.

My favorite type of joke might lowkey be a lie.

If you weren't embarrassed from yesterday, then don't come into this gym. You're not needed or wanted here. We need the mindset to shift, because that was embarrassing.
