- Anyone who's standing with us, we want you to not use Eric Garner's name for violence, because we are not about that. I'm standing here in sorrow about losing those two police officers.
- The…problem in acknowledging good news - not just for the press but for the public - is that it has come to feel partisan, like an endorsement of whoever occupies the White House.
- Wrongful convictions are a slow, torturous process. It would be so much simpler to be choked out and die at the hands of a cop than to spend the rest of your life in hell based on the malicious acts of a cop.
- Isn’t 007 supposed to [be] handsome? Glad you think I’ve got a shot!
- Stuart [Scott]'s flair and finesse brought flavor and coolness to ESPN, and he opened the door for many other minorities to follow in his footsteps. Stuart, my brother, you have left a positive, lasting impression on not only the sports world, but the entire world as a whole.

- My favorite athlete ever is Magic Johnson. Magic Johnson's all about passing. It's all about, like, setting up players, setting up people. I like dishing out and watching somebody jam. Actually, I get great pleasure from that.
- I hate white people who come to me with all their race-related questions. Like, go read a book. I am not your literal Encyclopedia Brown.
